Hand Woven Cloth

Having spent my whole life enjoying making and creating beautiful things with paper and fabric I decided to explore the world of weaving!

In 2004, I spent 2 weeks with carpet weavers in Turkey learning the art of Kelim rug weaving. It was a rich and colourful experience which left me wanting to know more.

In 2006, I spent a month in Peru travelling around and learning from master weavers who taught me to weave and blend colours.

In the following years, I spent many months in Northern Spain with Anna Champeney learning and deepening my knowledge of weaving and creating colour from natural dye materials.

I now continue to weave in my studio in Farnham.

My work is mainly for sacred, healing and ceremonial use and usually specially commissioned.

I also offer private and small group classes in basic weaving techniques.
