Meditation

Meditation is a beautiful thing!

For those who have yet to try it, it can seem a little daunting - so many versions, so many rules,

do I really need to sit cross legged in a 'lotus position'?

My aim is to bring simple yet powerful meditation techniques to everyone.

I offer small group classes &  individual one to one sessions.

In essence, meditation is about bringing awareness to the present moment so we experience ourselves fully. This can be achieved at any in time in any situation. For most of us though this can seem difficult as our minds are busy busy busy...... therefore a regular practice of meditation allows us to slow down and practice a more peaceful state which we can then take into our every day lives.

Some of the benefits of meditation?

A calm mind

Good concentration

Better clarity

Improved communication

Relaxation and rejuvenation of the mind and body

With meditation, the physiology undergoes a change and every cell in the body is filled with more prana (energy). This results in joy, peace and enthusiasm. So on a physical level, meditation can help to :

Lower high blood pressure

Lower the levels of blood lactate, reducing anxiety attacks

Decreases any tension-related pain, such as, tension headaches, ulcers, insomnia, muscle and joint problems

Increases serotonin production that improves mood and behavior

Improves the immune system

Increases the energy level, as you gain an inner source of energy

Meditation brings the brainwave pattern into an alpha state that promotes healing. The mind becomes fresh,

delicate and beautiful. It cleanses and nourishes you from within and calms you, whenever you feel

overwhelmed, unstable, or emotionally shut down.  With regular practice of meditation:

Anxiety decreases

Emotional stability improves

Creativity increases

Happiness increases

Intuition develops

Gain clarity and peace of mind

Problems become smaller

Meditation is like a seed.

When you cultivate a seed with love, the more it blossoms.
